I t is hard to believe that it was 50 years ago that my dad took me down to the basement and told me of his plans to sell out of his partnership and begin his own business. Then he proceeded to tell me that he had this great idea called a “Manhole Shield”. You can imagine my reaction as a high school kid. “Dad has flipped out”……”I’m never going to college”. But that “Manhole Shield”, a Mobile Manhole Support Trailer, and a few other clever ideas got us on our way. We patented the first quick-set up tent series, and followed it up with a long line of innovations for worker 50 years of excellence and invention

In 2001 we acquired Uni-Hoist with it’s Davit System and patented Carbon Fiber Uni-Lite Tower. Later we designed and patented the “LifeGuard” Manhole Retrieval system. Last year we introduced a line of standby power products for specialty applications. Keep watching.
