Cable Feeders & Nozzles

This family of flexible metal hoses and removable nozzles help to protect your cables as they are being pulled into underground conduit.

Standard Cable Feeders These solid feeders provide increased cable protection no matter how deep the manhole is and an easy way to apply lubricant to the cable as it passes through the feeder. Our standard Main Sections are 4 in. (101 mm) x 90 in. (228 cm) and Extension Sections are 4 in. (101 mm) x 43–1/4 in. (109 cm). Larger diameters and special lengths are available. Please refer to the table listed below.

U NDERGROUND P ULLING E QUIPMENT

The feeders are made from flexible spring steel hose Both the Main Section and Extension Section come with a bronze bell mouth welded to one end The Main Section also has a connecting sleeve welded to the other end, while the Extension Section has a reducer welded to its other end to fit into the bell mouth of either the Main Section or another Extension Section The ability to add Extension Sections allows a user to make any length of hose required Note: The Cable Feeders are designed to be used with Nozzles (see Page 72) for connecting into conduit.
